SIA Gallery invites you to the opening of the exhibition and book lounge “Heroes for One Day – Revisiting Three Urban Artefacts in Skopje by Slovenian Architects”.
The exhibition re-evaluates the works of three Slovenian аuthors/practices, whose buildings in Skopje have become key urban landmarks, defining ‘cities-within-the city’: MOB – the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, as part of the Cultural Centre by Biro 71 (built between 1972-’81), UKIM – the University Centre Ss. Cyril and Methodius by Marko Mušič (built 1970-’74), PMF – the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences by Edvard Ravnikar (built 1949-’51).

Initiators and creative directors of the exhibition and related publication, are architect Daniel Serafimovski and
artist Nada Prlja, founders of the independent Cultural Agency and Gallery SIA in Skopje.
